Terms of Service
Effective date: September 25, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Color Her Courage website and app, operated by Digital Escapes Studio ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them.
What this is
A digital coloring app. You color illustrated pages in your browser, on a phone, tablet, or computer. Some pages are free. The rest unlock with a one-time payment.
There is nothing to install and nothing physical is shipped.
Your account
You don't need an account to use the free pages. You do need one to buy the full book, so your purchase and artwork can follow you between devices.
Keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at info@afrodiasporan.cloud if you think someone else has access.
You must be at least 13 to create an account, and old enough in your country to enter a contract.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase of $9.99 USD that unlocks all pages in the book for your personal use. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews. Nothing is charged again.
Your access lasts as long as we operate the service. If we ever shut it down, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to download the pages you've colored.
What you can do with the artwork
Yes:
- color the pages and keep them
- print them at home
- share your colored pages on social media
- give a printed page to someone you care about
- put your own colored page on a personal item for yourself — a mug, a canvas, a card
No:
- reselling or redistributing the pages, colored or uncolored
- sharing your account so other people get the paid pages
- selling products made from the artwork
- using the artwork in someone else's product, book, or app
- extracting the page files to distribute them
- claiming the underlying artwork as your own
The illustrations are ours and remain ours. You are getting a personal-use licence, not ownership.
Your coloring is yours. The color choices you make are your creative work. We claim no ownership of them and we will not use your artwork for marketing without asking you first.
Fair use of the service
Please don't:
- try to get around the payment or access controls
- scrape, bulk-download, or automate the service
- upload or enter unlawful, hateful, or abusive content in the dedication field
- interfere with the service or other people's use of it
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and shown before you pay. You are responsible for any taxes that apply where you live, unless shown at checkout.
Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and working, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause, or improve features over time. If we make a change that meaningfully reduces what you paid for, we'll tell account holders.
We may need to take the service down for maintenance.
Not medical advice
This app is for creative and personal use. The pages, affirmations, and any wording in the app are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Nothing here is a claim about health outcomes. Always talk to your doctor or care team about your health.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some places give you consumer rights that these terms cannot override, and those rights stand.
Ending things
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing info@afrodiasporan.cloud.
We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. If we do that without cause, we'll refund the unused value of your purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and disputes go to the courts there — unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally, in which case that right stands.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we'll notify account holders of significant changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
